New inbound exchange student Daneilla will arrive August 20 and her host mom will pick her up at Airport. Faroe Islands flag for the Youth Exchange is in but has to be picked up.
Interclub attendance down, about 80. We should visit clubs to promote. Originally BBQ was 2nd Monday of August, later date many people takes vacation end of August, R Chris advised we lost a little, about $200 but some funds to come from Trenton club.

District Conference next year - Rotary Muskoka Style at JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort and Spa - October 25 - 27, 2019. Registration fee $349. Rooms at special rate of $135 / night while they last. Special Guests and programing: Amanda Lindhout, Canadian Humanitarian and Journalist, in 2008 along with some of her entourage were kidnapped by Islamic Insurgents in Southern Somalia. She will tell of her experiences and release. Also a panel of three top military leaders from Canada, United States and Denmark lead a panel discussion about the Military's role in Peace Building and Conflict Resolution. Also Erin Davis, a best selling author and former Toronto media personality will talk about her book; 'Morning has Broken; Love, Loss and Reclaiming Joy.'
Quinte Sunrise are having a Pub night at the Beaufort Pub in Belleville on August 30th. No cover. There will be 50/50 and portion of food and drinks will go to the club.
Foundation Walk will be at Humber College, 2 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive, Toronto. Sunday September 8th from 10am to 2pm. We need to start fund raising for this event.
