Celebrating 100 years with the Rotary club of Port Hope, at the Rotary Centennial River Park. Well done!! To the next 100 years!

Saturday, was the Markham Santa Claus Parade. Kudos to Jim, CJ, Tina, Ken and everyone else, Markham Unionville and Markham Sunrise clubs for bringing smiles to the community.
At the same time, the Whitby Sunrise club members and RYLS participants came together for the 9am to 9pm Sew-athon!  Girl's Empowerment Kits that are given out in the Dominican Republic schools. PDG Mark was fast at work sewing a storm. Liners, Bags and Shields need to be cut, and sewn. These reusable menstruation kits allow young women to stay in school and not fall behind in their studies.

Smile: blush

Compliments of Rudy:

Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement centre were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: 'Slim, I'm 83 years old and now I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age, how do you feel?'
Slim says, 'I feel just like a newborn baby.'
'Really!? Like a newborn baby?'
'Yep, No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.'

From Steve S or Steve 2:

If at first you don't succeed, don't go sky diving. A parachute is only needed to sky dive twice.
