A pleasure to have President Daniel with us on Zoom this morning. He had not experienced the sad effect of trying to sing together on Zoom so we tried and it again. Still didn't go well.

 

Treasurer Chris provided a recap of Club financials. We are spending more than we are bringing in. No surprise. However, Diners and Duffers book sales going okay, especially if all books are sold.

 

R Chris encouraged Directors to put together budgets for next year, in spite of issue with difficulty guessing possible revenues under COVID rules.

 

There followed some discussion of possible fund raiser that would involve selling meals prepared by local restaurant for pick up or delivery. Smoke House is willing to consider the idea. Details need to be worked out. Initial thoughts are a week night mid July, offering steak, chicken and possibly vegetarian dinner.

 

R Clay will lead team to organize. R Daniel and Chris will support. They will meet at Smoke House for lunch and talk to Sue. R Joyce may join them if available.

 

They will also explore possibility to start meeting Friday mornings on Smoke House patio?
