Brighton Soccer - We are excited that after 2 missed seasons due to COVID, Season 2022 is open forregistration. It will be great to have the fields filled again. Back at the beginning of 2020 we had reached out to sponsors to enable us to place our jersey order which had to be in before the end of February. Little did we know that several weeks later the season would have to be cancelled. Unfortunately it was too late to cancel our order so the jerseys were printed and delivered to us. We have kept the jerseys safe at hand and are reaching out to sponsors to request permission to use the jerseys this season. Look forward to hearing from you. Lyn Santos, Club Administrator. Club will provide approval to use jerseys.

From: ELIZABETH MUTHONI WANJAU [lizmuthoniwanjau@gmail.com]
Greetings. I'm an asylum seeker currently residing in Tanzania after I was forced to flee my home country Kenya together with my two children as a result of threats to our lives due to my work as a human rights defender. I'm currently looking for sponsorship to relocate to Canada to settle since our security is guaranteed there. I'm humbly appealing to you to assist us start a new life where my children can live dignified lives and acquire education since they currently are not in school. I'm open to engaging more on email on my situation. I have previously served as a Rotarian in the Rotary Club of Nyeri in 2018 and 2019. Regards. ELIZABETH MUTHONI WANJAU ASYLUM SEEKER/ HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDER AT RISK.
R Clay has started to investigate the legitimacy of this claim.
Here is a link to a story about this lady in the Kenya Star. R Clay subscribes to this paper but don't read everything. It is a reliable press.

Horizons of Friendship - Attached please find a Final Report from Horizons on our project “Promotion  and defense of human, labour and gender rights in Nicaragua.” We are very happy to report to you that this project was completed successfully. It either met or exceeded all of its goals, despite delays caused by COVID-19 and the hurricanes that hit the country in the Fall of 2020. We are sad to report to you, however, that recent changes in federal requirements around the registration of NGOs in the country have ended in the closure of our partner, the María Elena Cuadra Working and Unemployed Women’s Movement (MEC). They were issued a statement last week that the organization will be forcibly closed and its assets will be seized by the federal government. MEC is not alone in this; many other NGOs have already been forced to close in recent weeks by the Ortega government, despite their earnest efforts to provide the information they have been asked for and international pressure. We have been proud to partner with MEC over the years and hope to do so again in future.
Thank you once again for your kindness and support which is very much appreciated by us at Horizons and by our partners in Nicaragua.
See attached report.

Smile: blush

I have a weak back.
How long has it been bothering you? It started about a week back.

While out for a walk, R Craig went by the local school. A female custodian was working in the school yard and asked R Craig if he would like to go out. R Craig said he did not date high maintenance women.

A couple were listening to the news when a report was broadcast asking residents to park their vehicles on the odd number side of the road because a big storm was coming and it would make snow clearing operations easier for the crews. So the wife moved the car to the odd number side of the road.
The next night, the news asked residents to park on the even numbered side of the street to allow the snow removal crews to clear away the snow. So again the women moved their car to the even number side of the street.
The third night, the news was about to recommend moving vehicles again when the power went out. The women asked 'what was she to do?' So the husband suggested she leave the car in the garage that night.

Good to see you R Craig.
