After breakfast this morning, we all made our way to the Rotary Pavilion at King Edward Park.
There President Patty and R Daniel unveiled plaque on one of the benches to honour past Rotarian Al Ronneberger.
Mayor Brian Ostrander recognized the work of Rotary in the community.
R Daniel acknowledged that past R Al, as a local businessman and a member of the Rotary Club of Colborne in 1988 recognized that the Town of Brighton should have a Rotary Club. So Rotarian Al organized a committee and the Rotary Club of Colborne sponsored the Rotary Club of Brighton that was chartered 30 years ago on June 14, 1989. Brighton Rotary exists because of Al's vision.
