Two speakers this morning:
Jeff Moorhouse representing the Batawa Pond Hockey Classic which supports the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and Wounded Warrior Foundation.
Lidia Vouchak of TLC Rooms, a new local business in the Brighton area.
Jeff Moorhouse gave a brief history of the Pond Hockey Classic held in Batawa each year. This year it is February 2 - 4. Special fund raiser dinner Friday night (cost = $100) and special guest speaker is Peter MacKay, former MND. Games played on several ice surfaces Saturday and Sunday, 4 on 4 with no goalie.
Volunteers always welcome.
This year they are combining with kid's activities on Saturday by Military families Resource Centre.
To -date, they have $202,000 donated to charities - split 50/50 between TMH Foundation and Wounded Warriors.

Lidia is an interior designer / decorator, new to Brighton. She gave us a brief history of herself, and described her services and how she works with clients doing renovations, or new home designs. She loves her work and has a desire to help her clients. She works with a variety of budgets, both small and large projects.
She also designs unique specialty hand bags.
