Before 2022 my wife was full.  My husband had passed away.  Trying to have a positive impact in life gave me great joy.  I knew that when I grew up that I could give children dignity and hope.  I have always been a strong advocate of good governance.  I had been an advocate for children to the local council. At times I was advocating for children. At other times I was filling out reports at police stations.

 

In 2022, I realized that I was being followed and that I was no longer safe.  I was also informed that I should be careful.  In February of 2022, my work associate was killed and I realized that I must leave.

 

Life in Tanzania was hard.  The children could go to school.  We stayed in a tiny home.  We had hope that things would improve due to the link that had been made with the Brighton Rotary.  We were looking for assistance and had much disappointment, but were so happy to hear from Clay Samis.  We are grateful for your support.   

 

We then moved to Zambia.  We are lucky.  The process took only one year, where others typically take three or four years.  We were in the first group that left in June.  We experience such a good country here in Canada.  We have child benefits.  We have enrolled the children in schools.  Thanks to you all.
